The promotion meeting on the quality improvement and application of domestic testing instruments and equipment aims to help enterprises formulate standards and improve the quality of product design, thus reversing people's prejudice against domestic testing instruments and promoting the transformation of domestic testing instruments and equipment from big to strong.

 

Detection instrument industry is called recessive "military industry", and its level of innovation, manufacture and application reflects a country's level of science and technology and industry. With the progress of science and technology, detection instruments have been widely used in industrial production, food safety, environmental protection and other fields.

 

During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, the national or provincial product quality supervision and inspection institutions undertaking the task of product quality inspection and testing are equipped with high-grade and precise testing instruments and equipment, and the testing institutions below the municipal level are equipped with a large number of basic equipment and rapid testing instruments. At the same time, the emergence and development of third-party testing institutions have also led to the demand for testing instruments.

 

In addition, with people's attention to food safety and environmental protection, the market of food safety testing equipment and environmental protection testing equipment is booming. According to relevant data, in 2015, the market of food safety testing instruments in China exceeded 10 billion yuan, and the market of environmental monitoring instruments reached 4.4 billion yuan.

 

While the huge market demand drives the development of China's testing instrument industry, there are also some problems. For example, the process of technological innovation and industrialization of domestic testing instrument industry is lagging behind that of international countries; small and medium-sized enterprises are weak in technology, lack of funds, low-level repetitive production and serious disordered competition; professional and technical talents with high-level theoretical and practical abilities are scarce; most of the products belong to key technical indicators such as middle and low-level technical level, reliability and stability. The standard has not yet met the requirements, etc. Therefore, for a long time, imported testing instruments have occupied the main market in China.

 

In order to promote the development of domestic scientific instruments, the state has launched a series of plans to revitalize the domestic scientific instruments industry in recent years, which will help the development of domestic testing instruments. For example, in recent years, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance jointly set up a national major instrument and equipment development project, and invested billions of yuan, launched a number of projects to promote the localization, industrialization and demonstration of large-scale instruments.

 

To break the import monopoly and realize the "counter-attack" of domestic testing instruments, the first thing for enterprises is to introduce high-tech talents, increase investment in technology research and development, enhance the technological content of products, and develop products to meet the market demand. At the same time, it forms its own characteristics and scale, and has a clear plan for its product positioning. Secondly, actively cooperate with world-renowned enterprises, introduce advanced technology, produce world-leading products, and promote the development of testing instrument industry by localization of world-renowned enterprises.

 

After decades of development, China's testing instrument industry has achieved "from scratch" and is moving towards "from there to strong". Nowadays, the increasing demand for testing instruments from all walks of life is constantly pushing the industry forward.

 

Supported by the national policy, China's testing instrument industry will have an important opportunity to accelerate development and layout adjustment in a good market environment. I believe that tomorrow's home-made testing instruments will be as prestigious as today's many made in China and created in China.
